*Shift:* Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
*Weekend Requirement:* Every 3rd weekend
*On-Call Requirement:* N/A
*Holiday Requirement:* Every other holiday group rotation

*Compensation & Benefits:*
* Competitive base hourly pay (based on experience)
* Shift Differentials:
* Evening shift: $3.00/hour
* Night shift: $4.50/hour
* Weekend: $1.90/hour
* *Sign-On Bonus:*
* $10,000 for full-time (0.9 FTE) with 2 years of ED experience
* $5,000 for part-time (0.6 FTE) with 2 years of ED experience

*Job Summary:*

Emergency Department (ED) is a fast-paced environment seeing an average of 260 patients per day. We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in emergency situations, work collaboratively with healthcare teams, and ensure efficient patient flow in the ED.

*Responsibilities:*
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department
* Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
* Monitor and interpret vital signs, ECGs, and other diagnostic tests
* Respond to emergency situations, including trauma, cardiac arrest, stroke, and sepsis
* Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
* Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols

*Qualifications:*

*Required:*
* Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Illinois (IL)
* Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
* _Note:_ Candidates with only 1 year of ER experience are not eligible for the sign-on bonus
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

*Preferred:*
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
* National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
* Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
